Special Education
Many new course have come in this modern era. These course are highly popular now days. One of these is special education which is for the people who teach the students with learning disability. In this course the teachers are taught about innovative ways of making their students learn a certain concept. Various creative methods of teaching are devised, so that the students can learn easily without facing any difficulty.
Students who suffer from learning disability are special cases. They cannot learn like normal people. They need to given a lot of attention.
In fact even if they do not require a lot of care, they do require a certain kind of care so that they can learn things easily. Since they are special cases, they require special education too.
The teachers earlier did not understand the problem of these kids which resulted in lot of humiliation and embarrassment of these students by the teachers. Since teachers were not trained to handle such students it was not exactly their fault. This new course of special education mainly focuses on the teacher’s training so that they can understand the students problems and help them to learn in a way that is suits them.
Since the learning disabilities are also of different kinds, there cannot be one method of teaching for these students. Therefore specific training methods have been designed for a each type of learning disability.
There can be numerous problems. They can be both mental as well as physical in nature. The intensity of a disease may differ from patient to patient. Like two people from different regions will definitely differ in some of the symptoms or problems even if they are suffering from the same disease. Therefore someone appointed to train must understand their condition properly. Only then they can help them learn in a way which is specific to their problem.
These special students can have regular classes like the normal people. Just the teachers teaching them must be specially trained. In this method of teaching the students are also taught with the normal students so that they can grow up in a natural environment.
There is a pull out system of training specially designed for these students. Here they are taught with students who are suffering from same kind of problem. Here they are trained intensively. Special equipments are also used to train these students in this system of teaching.
In fact now days there are special schools for these types of students. All the students suffering from any kind of disability that hampers there learning are put here. These schools have state of the art facilities so that the students do not miss out anything can be trained in a better way. Students are also provided medical support whenever they need them.
Everybody has a different mental level. Therefore it will be better if they would be trained in a way that suits their mental level. After all everybody has a right to education.
